Nigerian Veteran Nollywood Actor Justus Esiri has Died


Nigerian Nollywood Actor Justus Esiri (1942-2013)

Justus Esiri who became famous for his role in the popular 80?s sitcom, Village Headmaster. has died at the age of 71. According to unconfirmed sources, the veteran actor died of diabetes. His dead comes as a shock to most of his fans worldwide.

Mr. Justus Esiri was born in November 1942 in Oria, Abraka, Delta State in Nigeria. He studied at Catholic Secondary School Warri in 1948 before continuing his studies in Maximillan University in Munich, Germany, in 1964.

He also attended Prof Werner Institute of Engineering in West Berlin, Germany, in 1967 and the Ahrens School of Performing Arts in 1968.

From then he moved into motion picture production in 1968 when he started working for the Schiller Theater in Berlin from 1968 till 1976.

He was also the Production Manager for Dinner with the Devil and worked as a news translator and newscaster with the Voice of Nigeria, (German Service.)
